Hot Chocolate is many shoppers’ hot beverage of choice when the winter season is in full swing.
Last year, Cadbury’s wanted to give our customers a little boost with the opportunity to win some spectacularly nice prizes across their well-loved range.
Cadbury’s ran a three week long campaign heading into December, where shoppers had the chance to turn their nice evening into a "Spectacularly Nice" one, with any purchase from Cadbury’s Hot Chocolate range.
As advertised on the screen, customers could enter online and win London West End theatre evenings or an overnight trip to Paris. There were also hundreds of Cadbury Hot Chocolate hampers to be won which included takeaway vouchers.
The promotion ran on Cadbury Drinking Chocolate 500g, Instant Hot Chocolate 400g and Cadbury Highlights Milk Chocolate 220g. Hi! Street collected EPOS sales data from all of the stores that participated in the campaign.
Analysis of the data showed that sales of Cadbury’s Hot Chocolate range increased by 65% during the three week campaign, compared to sales in the three week’s leading up to the campaign.
